Sample from Montreal Regionals

This is a great sample that one of the demonstrator’s who attended this event, brought and shared with us. She was kind enough to hand one out to each of us.

She has taken a large containter ( you can buy them at Costco ) of candy pops and decorated them all , and put them back in the container. Then taken the lid and hole punched a few spots in the top to put some the candy pops so they look like flowers out of the top.

Just to add to the sweetness …she has wrapped two bands of ribbon around the container.!!!  I think this is so CUTE!!!!

What a great idea to make for kids’ parties, class events …….the ideas are unlimited!!

It’s been awhile

I’ve been so busy this past week, I have’nt had time to update my blog……What have I been doing you wonder ?  Well, I have been busy planning my next month of classes and I also had a chance to sneak away for Saturday to attend one of our wonderful Stampin’ Up! events.  It was a great chance to catch up with fellow demonstrator, and like always be wowed and inspired at the many great things I learn to do with paper!!  I have brought back a  TON of ideas and I can’t wait to share them with you ALL!!!!!

Speaking of classes, the next class I have scheduled is April 12 at 7pm at my Studio.

 It’s been a long time since I’ve had a chance to sit down and catch up on a few of my many family pictures that are growing.  I was able to get a few done and I thought I would share one with you. I used some of our new designer paper in the Spring mini, I must order myself another pack of that!! I love it!

Stamping with the Kid’s

Today has been another busy day, I’m getting ready for my Stamping 101 class tonight.  We are looking forward to a nice Easter Weekend, and are ready to see the snow start to melt.

I had a chance to stamp today with my two beautiful neices and my two children.  That is one more thing I love about my job, I get these great moments to be at home and spend time with my kids and the neices .  Memories I will always have!!!  GOSH….it does’nt  get much better than this!!!

So I hope you enjoy the kids Creativity!!!  

Kids Easter Treat’s

The kids and I made over 50 of these in total to send into school tommorrow for both of their classes. Every holiday the kids really enjoy making and giving their friends a little something! 

I think they turned out really well …Don’ t you!!!!

Flower pot Card

Last night at our Monthly Stamp Club ,the  group  made two beautiful projects!

Since we are all waiting for Spring to come, I decided to make some projects using stamps from the Spring Mini Brochure to get  us in the mood.

The first one we made is what is called a Flowerpot Card.  This is not my original design, but a twist on somthing someone else had made.  The details and template can be found at :

The Second Project we made was also using the New ‘ Tart and Tangy ‘ set from the Spring Mini.  We made an Scratch and Sniff Card!!  If you scratch the orange , it smell’s like orange’s.

The girls loved it!!

My Custom Designed Painted Canvas!

SO if you have been to my studio in recent months… you will have noticed many painted pieces of Artwork.  Thank you all for your comments and words of encouragment.  I started this in the fall, and had never painted on canvas.  I loved the unique way that I could add my love of Scrapbooking and they fun of adding paint and depth …and in the end creating a piece of artwork for the wall. 

After much encouragement from other’s I have decided to try selling a few of my pieces.  This is the first one!

Groovy Guava Stampers…..What are they you ask?

A project from last week……

When I was trying to prepare last week for the show, I was looking for some items to jazz up the display’s. I came across this really cute , vase from President Choice.  It was only $2.99 and was screaming buy me!  So when I got home, of course I new exactly what I was going to do…RUBON’S!

I never thought I could love something more then I love my rubber stamps….but I would have to say this is getting pretty close.  I love the rubon’s we carry!

They are so easy to use, I simple, cut the image of my choice out, layed it on the surface and rubbed it with the stick included and …..VIOLA!!!

Ottawa Women’s Show

Thank You, Thank You, Thank You….for taking the time to stop by my booth at the Women’s Show.

It was great to see how many people were still able to make it out and about even with the record snow fall we

had here in ottawa ( 50cm).
